That which is fragile is easily disturbed, broken, and destroyed; especially by the unexpected. The resilient and robust are tough, hardened, and able to withstand many insults and keep on trucking. The anti-fragile though is a whole new category. Antifragility is only new in the descriptive sense but not so far as Mother Nature is concerned. This new addition to the lexicon gives a more complete description of the continuum of adaptability.
